How long does the life of a PSP fully charged last?

Thursday, November 29th, 2007
  1. idk i dont play those things
  2. 6 hours i think maximum
  3. go over to system settings and then go to battery, it will tell you, but i think its usualy like 6 hours not sure
  4. uhhh….24??Lol.. i’m not sure…
  5. if you use it for about an hour each day for 3 days it should be dead on the 3rd day, i have one and i use it for an hour mostly, but i don’t know longer than that, but i do know that the battery sucks lol.
  6. depends on what battery u get
u can buy a battry with good stamina in best buy and circut city
it will give u 5 more hours than the regular batery
    Normal = 5
Buy new battery with good stamina = 12 - 15 hours

depends on what use u give to ur PSP
playing with a UMD disc would make the PSP run out fo battery fast since the disc reader is working
but if u just use it ti listen to music watch videos and all of that or thing that dont involve games ur battery would last longer

Typical 21st Birthday Parties

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

A typical 21st birthday parties entails the individual being taken out to as many bars as possible. Of course, only a few bars in close proximity can actually be visited because the birthday boy or girl can only get in at midnight the night their birthday begins. The next night is good for celebrating too because you can go out early in the evening. But, for those looking to celebrate as soon as possible the stroke of midnight is the time for the celebration to begin. Since most 21st birthday parties are centered on alcohol it is not too difficult to imagine what most 21st birthday gifts consist of. Most people buy their friends shots or mixed drinks to help them enjoy their first night of being able to legally drink. Although, some others come up with more creative 21st birthday gift ideas that do not actually include alcohol. Regardless of the celebration, however, coming up with ideas for birthday gifts can be pretty hard. Because of this there are many websites that have lists upon lists of ideas to help those clueless individuals find the right gift.

What are the different programming languages that exist today?

Saturday, November 24th, 2007
  1. T here are way too many to list. Some of the popular ones are:

    Java
    C++
    C
    C#
    Visual Basic 6.0
    Visual Basic .NET

    Some of the others:

    Pascal,
    Basic,
    SmartTalk,
    Lisp
    Prolog
    Ocam
    ADA
    Fortan
    Algo (+ variants)
    Various assemble languages
    Clipper

  2. C, Objective C, C++, Java, C#, assembly, perl, python, PHP, shell, lisp, pascal, Haskell, Fortran, Common Lisp, Emacs Lisp, Ada, Modula, Smalltalk, Brainfuck, Scheme, Basic, D, C–, PL/1, Assembler, are the ones I remember.

    Best look up Wikipedia.

  3. C
    C++
    Turbo C
    ANSI C
    Java
    Pascal
    HTML
    & some more…

currently i’m into C++ in my BCA course..

  4. I Can Give you Some of them that exist here..

    They’re:-
    1.Java
    2.COBOL
    3.C++
    4.C
    5.Visual Basic
    6.HTML(Only For Internet Purposes)
7.Pascal (exists but not used professionally)

Please let the answerer which has told “Turbo C” as a programming Language ,Given Some information…that “Turbo C” Is NOT A PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE…Its a software created by Borland Internationals that allows the user to Create Softwares or Programs Using C Language Or C++ Language..

  5. There are over 2500 langauages it seems

    Check out this site

    http://people.ku.edu/~nkinners/LangList/…

Gives you a comprehensive list of programming languages and short description and it is alphabetically arranged

  6. 1)BASIC…used to develop application for the MS-DOS OS
    2)QBASIC…next version of basic
3)C…again used to develop apps in MS-DOS
4)C++…object oriented version of C(prodedural language)
5)JAVA…object oriented programming language…java can be used for developing apps in almost every Os you have heard about…JAVA accomplish this by its famous JVM(java virtual machine)..java is used to develop web applications, applications for mobile phones which support java…elements like applets for web pages, and even operating systems for phones…
6)HTML(hyper text markup language)…well it is not generally considered to be a programming language..it is actually a Markup language..to define a HTML web page…very easy to learn and implement
7)then you have the server side programming languages like PHP,ASP…these languages are used to connect a web page to a database…to make the web page dynamic….(means the web pabe is updated dynamically)
8)VC++(visual C++) used to develop applications exclusively for MICROSOFT WINDOWS…this also an object oriented language..and this a larger version of C++
7)VB (visual basic)…very powerful…very easy…uses are same as VC++..this language is the favorate of people who makes viruses…it’s very easy to do mischief with this….you can write a small program to wipe out a whole hard drive..!!!
8)scripting languages like the CGI(common gateway interface)script and javascript..used to do a bit of calculations in the web pages….i.e..these scripts are run by your computer and not by the server…

Who Else Hates People that comment on your grammar and spelling?

Saturday, November 24th, 2007
  • OK; agreed - so what’s your question?
  • I agree. But why have you used capitals where they’re not needed?
  • Mines very bad, but the content of my answers make up for it =)
I find they moan because that’s the only thing they can moan about ;-)
  • I think those sorts of people need to grow up. Who cares if someone makes a spelling mistake, its not the end of the world.
  • eye doo
  • I hate people who do that too. you have put 4 extra capital letters
  • To those people your mistakes are the most irritating thing ever.
  • Why do you capitalize the occasional word?
    Could do better
  • What is wrong with correcting people and helping them learn?

I try not to hate, it’s a very negative emotion and will mess up your mojo.

  • No; even MORE irritating are people who can’t spell or write. Communication tends to get hazy if you have no spelling or grammar skills. Hazy communication leads to misunderstanding, violence, war, poverty, and scheit politicians being elected to office.
  • I think it’s kind of obnoxious.

I’m an English instructor at a university. I teach grammar, pronunciation, etc. to international undergraduate and graduate students. I have an MA in Applied Linguistics; yet I don’t feel the need to come on here and play grammar police.

Misspelling and making minor grammar errors on Yahoo Answers, where people have no need to proofread or revise, are not serious issues. As long as people can understand the questions, they shouldn’t correct. They’re just being pompous wiseasses.

  • If you were an effective communicator, then you would not be irritated by those who have to correct you.
  • I agree.
    But sometimes it’s funny.
    Like Ross on Friends.
    :]
  • I hate it.im dyslexic.
its a disability for some people so there taking the Mick out of someone whose disabled people would go made if a racist comment was made
  • I hates it too, mmm, hates it, my precious
  • I hate when people type their whole question/answer in “txt spk”

it’s like, you dont need to! And no-one can understand it!

but i dont mind a few grammar mistakes or spelling mistakes, i dont bother using proper grammar on here (but i try to keep my spelling good)

sometimes the person might be dyslexic so its not their fault

and when i write a question i always put every word with a capital letter to make it more interesting :)

  • Yeah, it’s kind of irritating I suppose, LOL!!!!!

But, if you used proper spelling and grammar I can almost guarantee you wouldn’t be annoyed by it any more.

  • Granted it’s annoying, but hate them? That’s a bit much isn’t it? I can think of a lot bigger things to get P.O.’d about.
  • Some times there are so many errors; it is hard to understand the question. Then they post it again because they didn’t get any answers. UGH!!!
  • Meee
Its Not Like Im In School
  • I hate them also
    p.s you spelt prove wrong
  • Me!!
I come on here to ask Qs and Answer Qs, not for an English lesson!! Lol
  • Omg! I know! Is sooooooooo annoying! Like who cares about grammar! Seriously!
  • Personally I think it is disgusting to comment on someone spelling, not everyone is good at spelling and even spell check is not infallible, many times I have used the spell check only to find after i have submitted it that there is still a word spelt wrong and then have had to edit it. I don’t care how people spell things, if I can read between the lines and understand what they are asking i will still answer, without comment on their spelling.
  • I agree with Freakin. I got irritated once on here when someone pointed out a spelling mistake but I’ve never forgotten how to spell that word again, loll! I’m glad it was pointed out because I’m happy to learn.
  • Thank you for speaking up couldn’t have said it better.I do not like it at all makes you knida want to do it more just to irate them …loll
  • I’m not bothered by the caps… but you misspelled “prove”.
  • I AgReE WiTh YoU. It’S VeRy AnNoYiNg, IsN’t It? Yeah exactly!
It’s not like u asked them to correct ur mistakes or something!
What they have to do is answer your question that’s all!
    Not criticizes spelling!
it gets like so on my nerves

Was there sum football on last night, the reason i ask is……?

Friday, November 23rd, 2007
  1. Yes, there was some football last night.
  2. Yes there was a major England match which decided whether we qualified or not, and we lost - so if he came back later than he should have drank more than he should of and was slightly depressed thats why.
  3. lol u make me lol. i think it was South American qualifiers (Brazil and Argentina played yesterday). So he didn’t go out drinking as ukfuf said.
  4. Stockport were playing last night

I think ukcuf must have had a good drink watching the England game as he seems to have lost a day :-)

  5. Erm… yes there was a major match on last night. And he was with me until really late.
  6. Yes, and England lost, disqualifying them from EURO 2008.

My 5 year old broke my friends TV plaing wii. Now they want me to pay1000.00 to fix it it was an accident?

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

·        Your kid broke it, it is your responsibility.

·        that sux…dont pay it

·        How did they break it?

·        Ouch that is not good. That must suck… How did she break it???

·        dont pay

·        An accident… you still need to pay. put yourself in their shoes

·        I say move to Canada and change your identities

·        UMMMM, TELL them to go live in a hole. If your child was there and you WEREN’T there, don’t pay it. However, if you were there, no matter what you’re doing, you are responsible for every thing your child does until 18, so, unfortunately, u suffer the consequences.

Plus, if it’s your friend, should you really be asking this question?

·        Ummm tell them you’re sorry that they are bad baby sitters and get some new friends.

·        It is your child…you have to pay.

·        Why let a five year old play a game where the controller is literally tossed around like a rag doll anyway? Partial blame goes to the friends for not being conscience of this fact.

·        Sounds like it was their fault 2 me. They invited her over, they gave her the controller, their problem!

·        Maybe pitch in, but you are correct they invited her over and they know her age, so there should have definitely been some supervision there.

I dont think you are responsible for paying for the $1000

·        There are warnings that come with the WII that say operation could cause injury to your property. Use that against them.

Also, it won’t cost 1000 to fix a TV…that is an outrageous price. I would just never have your daughter go over there again.

·        The lack of adult supervision could be a mitigating defense in a small claims lawsuit, but I think you’re legally responsible for what your 5 year old does. In many cases like this, where each side has a valid claim or defense, a judge will “split the baby.” In other words, you’ll have to pay $500 towards fixing the TV.

·        They need to show you a repair bill. And why can’t they submit it to their homeowners insurance? And was there adult supervision? Lots of questions need to be answered before you pay a cent.

·        Unfortunately, you probably are required (if you went to court) to pay for it. You should see if it’s maybe less expensive to just replace it. However, I don’t think I would pay for it. They should’ve known better than to let a 5 yr. old play Wii! Also, they should have been supervising the children!

·        Well, sorry to say this, but you are responsible for your children’s actions. Maybe you could work something out with the owner of the TV, like pay half or something.

·        I do not see your question hear… but I agree! Where was the Adult supervision, and besides… A THOUSAND DOLLARS?????

What was it? Some super fancy pansy TV?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

·        Put it this way, you rear ended someone. Are you responsible for the damages even though it was an accident? Yes, you are. So why shouldn’t you be responsible for your kid’s action? She broke their TV, so you either get them a replacement or you fix it

·        Sorry, but I believe that you need to pay for it. Even if it was an accident your child did break it. Even if there was adult supervision, it probably happened very quickly. I would just check into the actual price to see if it actually cost $1000.00

·        I am trying to put myself in the other person’s shoes. Okay, they weren’t babysitting the child for you, right? They asked if the child could come play? I can’t imagine a 5 year old being able to break a tv unless it fell. Is the TV even worth $1000?

If THEY asked the child over to play, they were supposed to be supervising the child, & it happened, I don’t think they should be asking you to pay for it. **** happens. It’s only a TV! Your child could have been hurt by the TV.

·        be the adult and fix the tv. It doesn’t matter if it was an accident and they invited her over.

·        Well, I think that a 5 year old should have been supervised.
Also, they should have had the free Gel skin that Nintendo is giving away, which covers the remote.
My 8 year old is good with the Wii, only because I drilled it into her to put the strap even before turning it on.
Do I think you should pay?
No

·        Im sorry. But you have to pay it. It really does not matter if it was an accident or not. It’s the rite thing to do…….
Amanda

·        This is kind of tricky. My first inclination is to say that if your child breaks something then you are responsible for paying for it.

However, it sounds like they invited her over and you dropped her off…? Then they should have been watching her. I would figure out exactly how she broke it and go from there, though chances are if your child broke it you should be ponying up some money.

·        They invited - YOU APPROVED

that’s harsh - but what’s a grand between friends

it still hurts - - - - would homeowners insurance cover it

since it was an accident?? Can we split it the costs??

PS these types of accidents have been documented for months

so sorry

·        It is understandable that you are upset by this; $1,000 is a lot of money. It is true that there may not have been adequate supervision, and it is true that accidents happen. However, if they broke something of yours that was going to cost you $1,000 to fix, would you not want some compensation?

If you don’t trust them, you could have the repair appraised yourself. You may also (depending on the TV) be able to purchase them a new one for less than fixing the old one. If they are truly friends, they may work out a way that you can pay them over time, or pay them in services (like you have to babysit for them or clean or whatever) or in trade (like you have a spiffy new computer they really want and you can part with). There may be a number of solutions, but I think that you do hold the burden on this.

·        You’re the parent so it’s your responsibility. You should pay, or you’ll probably end up fighting with the owner of the broken TV. Go by the easy way and just pay the 1000. you shouldn’t have let the 5 yr old play with something so easy to hurl anyway.
-venom spd

·        Dont pay or maybe pay half. Did he really break it? u weren’t there and apparently neither were the other parents.

How many hours a day do u spend on your PC?

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

·        2-3hrs

·        I spend about 5-6 hours?

·        I spend way too much time.

·        about 2 - 4 depends really

·        \9 hours a day, five days a week.

·        about 20 hours

·        maybe 4 at most :]

·        Far to many

·        erm 7+ hours…on weekdays

whole day on the weekend

·        2-4

·        Almost the entire afternoon….I know. I know. I should be off doing better things…like cleaning my room. Sike.

·        Usually 20-30 minutes. =]. For real.

·        2-3 on and off always

·        not sure how many hours in the day, I spend to much time on my put to notice the time x

·        Like you I also spend far too many.

·        If you don’t get 10’s of thousands of “WAY TOO MUCH TIME”, then everyone is LYING!

I spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME. If ya saw my house, you would agree!!!

·        1 and 30 min a day

·        About 6 hrs a day.

·        If I’m not in class or eating, I’m my pc
I spend too much time ^_^

·        Too many!

·        I’m asleep for about 8 a day.

·        3-4 hours some days & 1-2 others. It all depends on what is going on.

·        24 hrs :) nah just jokin school days 8hours and 15 or 18 hours when no school. =p

·        U mm… Maybe an hour, 2 hours, 3 hours.. I think that’s a lot.

·        Between 27 and 30 hours a day (on average)

·        From the second I wake up till I go 2 bed .most the time!

·        Well from 8 am when I get to work, until 5pm when I leave…8hours….and sometimes 2 more hours at home. I spend too much time and its absorbing my life!

·        Normally about 2 or 3

·        I spend like 10 hours in like 3 days

·        Not meaning any offense, but those of you who listed 7 or above…need lives. BADLY. Doesn’t anyone on this site have friends? That they, you know, do stuff with?
