What is the field like for women in animation?

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

Is it a male dominated field or are there women entering that field as well?

Animation, like many other businesses, has been male dominated in the past. However, many women are entering the field and should soon be even with their male counterparts.

——–

In the golden age of animation, women traditinally only did ink and paint, but in recent yrs they have played a more prominant role. I may be male, but I still believe a woman can do anything a male can.

Tips on making yourselve cry?

Friday, July 4th, 2008

Spontaneous tears, especially in Live performance are difficult, but can be practiced. Steffi offers one valid suggestion, but in some measure it depends on your sensitivities.

I can water up, looking at a commercial if it has relevance, or thinking about those moments in my life that are still most poignant, or crucial to maintaining a sensitive balance.

Obviously for live performances it hardly matters, if you’ve nailed the side effects, IE: verbalization’s, body language. On stage one is rarely less than 30 ft. from the nearest row of seats, and TEARS might be less the issue, than creating that sense in the audience reaction.

You may get answers that state Onions, LOLOL,,, OR a squeeze Vial? You might study More, the method of crying,,, its onset, the context of the reasons, and EYE RUBBING will at the very least, work to some degree. It’s called ACTING for a very specific reason. Getting an audience involved, and getting them to “believe.”

Just my 2 “scents”
Film is vastly different, as you hopefully realize.

3 out of 4 customers surveyed preferred Trigee to a solution Caster Oil and Saltpeter. Do you agree?

The Sahara . . . . . . Not the one in Vegas
Can kill you . . . . . . .with all the lights
Blinding red . . . . . . . and the heat
Burns your eyes. . . . . without fire

It’s “Castor oil.”
As is my wont and obligation. I brought this to the attention of the Board of Directors of the Poetry Section, Division of Unctuous, Oleaginous, and Orotund Discourse. They recommended I undergo a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the cranium from the anal sphincter.]

You continue to improve your ability to use this form, which I am told was concocted by a crazy Marine in Kansas. After a tornado hit him in the head with a cow, he decided to write a different verse for each coast

Philosophers: How do you resolve the problem of evil?

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008
  • Simple; “evil” (like “good”) does not exist in any real form, and is merely a concept that has been invented to describe actions that harm us.

In reality, everyones actions are justifiable as everyone acts for the best interests of something. In this way, no-one truly thinks that what THEY do is evil, unless they have feelings of guilt from a morality that has been imposed on them.

  • What is Evil? define evil? What is considered evil to one would be considered normal to another. For good to prevail evil has to be defined so as it is impossible to define evil then your question has no solution

  • In my opinion you can’t resolve the problem of evil, humanity is made with a natural balance and where there is good, there will always be evil.

  • is a concept of a ruling class.
Without evil, good cannot exist. That is like Tao.
Actually , one can negate evil. without the good, the bad cannot exist.
    A harmony of balance.
I choose to stay in the middle of the extremes.

  • hmmm! Evil is as Evil Does. Do no Evil See no Evil Hear no Evil Think no Evil then it Does and never can exist. If Evil did exist before then it will diminish if given no heed, no fuel and it will close in on itself like the black hole it is. The black hole space and time everlasting existing only if given the cause for existence. Good however cannont then be given any measure and the abundance of good should then prevail having no measure what so ever?

  • Evil is an essential part of creation. But for the evil, no good can thrive. It is the evil which glorify the good. The world is created based on duality. Creation can be sustained only when there is duality like male and female, heat and cold, joy and sorrow, good and bad, poverty and affluence. For instance, if there is only one colour, say ‘white’, how any art form can thrive. Everything will be white only. The ups and downs of the life sustain us. If we are immersed in luxury for ever, we will commit suicide. The summer heat drives you to AC rooms and ice cream parlour. The snow fall drives you to the rooms where room heaters are installed. The hills are beauty because of the valley. The lake is beautiful because of the landscape. God has created varieties in every little creation. Hence we are able to live in this world. Hence they are very very essential for our life. Only thing is we should NOT harbour evil in our own selves. Sairam.

  • at the moment, therapy for my eating disorder
though gym membership and weight loss come in pretty close.

I cant forget though, the friends and relationships I am yet to have that will one day give me a real reason to get and stay well, they dont exist at the moment, but one day they will.

  • the most important thing in my life is going to sleep and knowing i get to wake up tomorrow because that makes me feel special because there will be a million people who didn’t get to wake up so i guess the most important thing is the moment :-]

  • right now…

History Help!?

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008
  • I need your history book..

  • Well for starters England wasn’t the most powerful military in the world. England had the best and largest navy but her land forces were rather smal. Parts of the English army used in America were mercenaries from Germany.

You also should keep in mind that the war wasn’t a regular war. In regular field battles the English army was victorious over the continental army. But guerilla warfare is another story. It the same with the Germans in Yugoslawia during WW II, the US in Vietnam or the USSR in Afghanistan.

Finally the French support for the rebells (because the most powerful army in the world (which was the French army) kept the English army in Europe) helped to win the war.

  • Well the thing about that was that King George did not send many troops to Fight for Britian overseas but enlisted the people who were still loyal to him in America. So since many colonists joined the Continentals the British forces in America were being beaten as the capital of Britian. Keep also in mind that the french helped the deafet of the British Forces also in the revolution.
