For example:
Alcoholics are berated by sober people
People who have to pay child support or “instructed” by those who are done paying or who don’t have to pay.
A certain joy comes to our hearts when someone get’s fired because, thank God it’s not us…..(yet).
Do some feel superior because they have managed to stay away or not be plagued by these things…… ?
Rich people…. When people get rich, they all of a sudden have all sorts of money management advice……
I wouldnt say powerfull. How about needed, or important.
I dont do the thank God part, I just laugh, its not right to thank God for others mis-fortunes

We are programmed by culture and society as to what is good and what is bad. Being superior is better than being inferior. Who makes these decisions for us?
Just the fact that all things are relative, ask yourself why you feel the way you do and is it all that important to judge.
Free yourself from your conditioned thinking and comparing. Duality may be the reason philosophy always leads to so many diverse “systems” and no ultimate truth!
We live in this world, so make the most of it, and perhaps a little better. A person freed from societies values usually would feel genuine compassion for others.
We all suffer from many “delusions” given to us by institutions. The rich may not be as happy as you may think!
