Is it true that in certain parts of the world the seasons are deffirent ???
i live in an area where its summer .. my friend lives in another area he says that its winter where he lives .. is that true
yes, very much. Summer in the US is at the same time as winter in Australia./

Due to the tilt of the Earth, when the northern hemisphere is enjoying summer, the southern hemisphere is in winter. June, July and August are the coldest months in Australia for example.
Much of the tropical world only have 2 seasons, wet and dry. Because they are close to the equator, the seasonal changes in temperature are minor, but monsoonal rains dominate the seasons. For example, Darwin in northern Australia has a wet season from November to March, and receives about 90% of the yearly rain and lots of cyclones(aka hurricanes in the Atlantic) during this period.
